The Ashford Project
The Design
This elegant project is part of a full renovation undertaken after the clients moved into their new home in May 2024. The existing kitchen felt too small and poorly positioned, and a full redesign was needed to create something more functional and beautifully integrated into the space. They worked with Luke to completely reimagine the layout, placing the kitchen at the heart of the home, bringing together practicality and style. The new space features carefully generous storage, considered appliances, and bespoke cabinetry crafted by Herringbone House, all of which support the way the clients use the space everyday.
“It’s completely changed how we live in the space. Deciding the final layout was very important. The new design that we created with Luke has completely changes how we live in the space and there isn’t one favourite bit. We love all of it, the layout, appliances, storage, and worktops. ”
The bespoke cabinetry was designed with our client and is our traditional Westminster door. The client visited the workshop during the project to see the team making their cabinetry, which is always lovely when they are able to.
Rob and Mark installed their cabinetry, which you can see them putting the canopy on in the below video.
The Details: Colours, Handles & Bespoke Details
The cabinetry is a bespoke colour made for our client, which we absolutely love. The vibrant green works so well with brass cabinetry. The handles are Armac Martin the Sparkbrook range, which look great together. The client has a downdraft hob and Miele appliances.
The client sourced their lights and stools from the internet.
“It's just a lovely place to be, it functions well and looks beautiful.”
We absolutely love how this project has all come together and wish the client a lifetime of happy memories in their new beautiful space.
