Every handle starts life as solid brass, then is hand-finished by skilled British artisans and crafted to order. This is hardware made to be handled for generations, passed down rather than replaced.

Choose from four signature finishes: Aged Brass, Satin Nickel, Polished Nickel, and Dark Bronze. All kitchens are Herringbone House projects.

  • Every piece is hand-crafted from solid brass, not hollow, which gives it a reassuring weight in the hand (like a piece of jewellery). Each item is individually hand-finished by skilled artisans, so subtle variations in colour and texture are normal, not a flaw.

    Finish matters, and will massively change the look of your cabinetry. Our Aged Brass and Dark Bronze are living finishes — they'll develop a richer patina over time with everyday use. Our plated finishes are designed to hold their appearance when cared for correctly.

  • Each piece is crafted to order by skilled artisans, not pulled from a warehouse shelf. A little more waiting, but a better, more considered product.

  • Rear-fix hardware uses adjustable snap-off bolts, while our face-fix is a simple mark, drill and secure. Take care not to overtighten.

    For the best finish, we recommend installation by a qualified tradesperson. Measure twice, drill once.
