The Design
This Jersey Blue kitchen is a lovely example of how to maximise the use of open plan living. The kitchen is centered around the large island which also features a large family seating area and dining nook. The main run of worktop space is designed in an L-shape, finished with floor to ceiling cabinets to hold the double ovens as well as a double pantry larder unit with bi-fold doors.
The kitchen is our classic Westgate Style and works well with the family’s needs. The island offers a lot of storage and the drawers allow for this to be even deeper.
The space has great light which means that the dark colour helps create a different mood and atmosphere whenever the day/season change with the white island and seating area helping to reflect this light.
The Details: Colours, Hardware, Worktops Etc
This kitchen is packed full of storage and maximises each corner of space available. The L-shaped island works really well with the L-shaped worktop space and offers a wonderful seating area for all of the family. The seat lifts up to reveal even more storage and the warm tone of the natural wood is a lovely contrast to the other two colours in the kitchen. The Quartz worktop and splashback have large veins running throughout making it a feature in itself.
The double larder is a beautiful sight and when you open the bi-fold doors you see the bespoke shelving and wine strorage within. The walnut wood carcase is beautiful to look at and the cold shelf is the same worktop material as the rest of the kitchen tying it all in nicely.
