Billericay Kitchen, Utility & Boot-room
The Design
We recently completed this gorgeous bespoke project in Billericay, Essex for a lovely family. This stunning open plan space includes a run of bottom units, an island running parallel and another gorgeous run of tall cabinetry featuring a curved larder unit, a glass fronted drinks cabinet, and American fridge-freezer frame.
The bespoke cabinetry for this project was made in our Westminster range, our most classic Shaker kitchens style. We have four different ranges from which our clients can choose from when designing their dream kitchen with us. As each piece is made completely bespoke for you, elements from each range can be mixed and matched to create the perfect kitchen for you and your family.

The Details: Colours, Hardware, Worktops Etc
A two tone colour story was chosen for this airy space, including an off-white for the two main runs and a beautiful and vibrant plum for the kitchen island. This gives the space more dimension and definitely grabs the eye!
The bespoke cabinetry was adorned with satin nickel plated custom handles from Armac Martin’s “Bakes” line and includes cup handles, bun knobs and pull bars.
The worktops all throughout the kitchen including the drink cabinet and pantry cold shelves are a CRL polished quartz in the colour Bianco Orion.
Beautiful oak interiors await inside each drawer and cupboard, with details like the dovetail drawer join seen above.

All of our kitchens, utilities and wardrobes are made in our Canterbury workshop, completely bespoke to you and your space. One of the most exciting parts of this process, is seeing your tailor made, unique units come to life.

The Pantry
The Corner Pantry & Glass Units
In the corner this curved run of tall cabinetry sits a fantastically spacious pantry. With oak shelves as well as a quartz cold shelf, and four additional storage spaces underneath, this is a prime example of the bespoke nature of what we do Herringbone.
The pantry unit also includes a painted spice rack with satin nickel plated bars to match the hardware of the kitchen.
Next to the pantry is the glass fronted glass counter-top unit. With three glass shelves inside, really allowed the glasses to be the main attraction of this part of the kitchen. A cold quartz shelf here a great idea for when drinks are spilled as the clean up is very easy!
The Utility & Boot-Room
This cosy utility and boot-room follows the same colour story as the kitchen with the off white cabinetry and satin nickel plated hardware. These two adjourning spaces have just the right amount of storage for this busy family.
The utility offers a great amount of storage as well as a Belfast sink, perfect for pre-treating stubborn stains, washing a small pet or even hiding the dishes during a party or get-together!
The boot-room space is` a lovely little moment; with two tall units for storing shoes & coats, umbrellas and sleeping bags, as well as the oak bench nestled in between, perfect to sit at and take off your muddy boots or learn to tie your laces.
We thoroughly enjoyed designing and creating this space for a beautiful family and we hope they enjoy many happy years and memories in it.
