The Design

The photos from this striking bespoke kitchen in Knole Park came through recently and they are quite spectacular! The design of this large kitchen consists of a main run of bottom cabinetry, bookended with tall units, a long kitchen island sitting parallel and a run of three tall cabinets to the left hand side of the kitchen; all in our bespoke Westminster cabinetry range. The Westminster is our most traditional Shaker style range however it can be made to appear a lot more modern (as pictured here in Knole Park) with the right hardware and details.

We love seeing our clients’ personalities injected into the finished product; like this neon orange bar stools at the breakfast bar that really brighten the space up and add a lot of character!

Open shelving is a great alternative to wall units if you’re not stressed for space and like an open, airy room. This single painted shelf over the kitchen sink is the perfect place to keep and display cookbooks, funky glassware or cups and a plant or two.

The Details: Colours, Hardware, Worktops & More

For their colour palette, our lovely clients went for a classic black and white combination paired with burnished brass pull handles on all their cabinetry. These are from the Sparkbrook collection from Armac Martin and feature gorgeous, slightly industrial knurled edges.

The worktops are a beautiful polished quartz from Silestone in the colour ‘Eternal Statuario’. White, lightly veined quart worktops are perfect for any project as they reflect and balance light within the space and are extremely easy to clean.

We offer a choice of oak or walnut for all your bespoke cabinetry interiors including traditional zig zag shelving and dovetail drawers. For this project, our clients went with a classic, light oak as show above in their large cutlery drawer on the kitchen island as well as below for the shelves and spice racks inside their pantries!
