Camberwell Bespoke Kitchen and Banquette Seating Nook

The Design

We recently completed this beautiful bespoke kitchen project for our lovely clients in Camberwell. The couple chose cabinetry from our bespoke Westminster range painted in Mylands ‘Grosvenor Square’ a lovely light grey colour. The kitchen has a bespoke nook which makes the perfect space for having your morning cup of coffee and entertaining in the kitchen.

This kitchen features bespoke banquette seating in the rooms stunning bay window, creating a perfect little social hub in the centre of the kitchen as well as offering additional storage underneath.

A tall dresser unit sits on one side of the banquette seating, with glass cabinetry doors showcasing the clients crockery collection. The shelves inside have been painted in a contrasting turmeric yellow colour, ‘Wharf Sacking’ by Mylands, adding colour and dimension to the unit. We love when client’s ask for bespoke elements like this, it really highlights how bespoke and unique your kitchen can be.

The Hardware

A classic and by far our most popular combination of handles is the Bakes Pulls handles, Cotswold Cup pulls and Cotswold Bun knobs. In this kitchen, our clients went for a stunning and warm burnished brass finish; beautifully picking up the warm tones from the floor.

The inside of the drawers are a beautiful oak, to compliment the kitchen’s floors and pulling in the cabinetry handles’ warm tone.

Our clients went for a simple white quartz with a mottled vein effect for their countertops in ‘Lagoon’. The purer white colour creates balance between the warm floor and drawers and the stainless steel appliances. The small metro style tiles along the splash back zone are a lovely way of continuing the quartz whilst adding texture and dimension.
