The Belair Park Kitchen
The Design
We recently completed this stunning bespoke kitchen project for a family near Belair Park in London. This gorgeous open plan kitchen and dining space includes a long run of cabinetry with floor to ceiling units bookending the section, a kitchen island running parallel as well as a floor to ceiling stained oak larder.
All the bespoke cabinetry was designed in our Westgate range. This range was named and based on the famous Westgate Towers of Canterbury and is recognisable by it’s T-bar feature. The range lends itself beautifully to art-deco and mid-century modern styles of decor especially when paired with reeded glass.
The Details: Colours, Handles & Bespoke Details
The colour story of this space is gentle and serene whilst also trendy and unique. With a soft pink for the main run of cabinetry contrasted by the black on the island and shelf. Natural elements of oak peaking throughout the space bring warmth to the otherwise cool-toned room. The antiqued brass handles & tap always give an additional touch of warmth and texture.
This breakfast bar sits on the main run of cabinetry. The cold shelf in the bar is perfect for hiding away all the utilities and plugs have been fitted to enable the use of essentials. It features three additional shelves inside the unit offering the perfect space to keep cups, hot drinks options and other essentials. The shelves are spaced out to allow for the different heights, which makes the breakfast bar a very usable space. The bi-fold doors not only look sleek but they are also space saving allowing for them to be open without being in the way.
The open storage shelf sandwiched between the floor to ceiling units brings a truly unique look to the kitchen and showcases the personality of its owners by displaying favourite items, plants as well as a traditional looking plate rack.

The Stained Oak Larder
This floor to ceiling oak larder unit was stained to achieve this luxurious dark chocolate colour. It features five shelves inside offering plenty of storage for the family’s dried goods, baking supplies, cook books and more. An additional shelf sit on top of that with reeded glass fronts and antiqued brass handles.
The Herringbone team loved working on this fantastic project and we wish our clients a wonderful life with their new kitchen.
